My grand children and even great grand kids came for two weeks out of their school holiday to visit with me, and Boy, am I glad that they are all back in school?
I love them to bits, but had to stand ready 24/7 for them, especially the tiny ones… Two aged 4 and 3 and one aged 15 months…
The older ones were less of a bother, but then again, they ate me out of home and home….What great appitites these teenagers have…
Thank God for school terms when we have the ability to get on with living our own lives.
Answer:
No, I enjoy school holidays, I get to drop my son off at my moms house each morning, a 2 minute drive and in the process save myself having to drive on the highway to drop my son at his school and usually also get a traditional English breakfast.
I'm sure my mother is glad when the holidays are over though, I guess she's in the same boat as yourself.
Answer:
No we only had 2 weeks holiday and it wasn’t enough, I miss my kids when they’re in school. Shame feel so sorry for them when they have to wake up so early in the mornings and get up in the freezing cold.
Answer:
I think it gives most parents a much needed break, and it keeps the children busy when they are back at school after the holidays - but brace yourself, because December is still ahead
Answer:
Got no kids… actually preffered them out of school… no traffic, so I could get up an hour later.
Answer:
what part of the world are you from.?here in the UK they start their holidays in 2wks time.
Answer:
Yeah, but there’s lots of traffic now!
