I think it's an optimist with life experience.
:-)

Answer:
A family had twin boys whose only resemblance to each other was
their looks. If one felt it was too hot, the other thought it
was too cold. If one said the Television was too loud, the other claimed
the volume needed to be turned up. Opposite in each way, one
was an eternal optimist, the other a doom & gloom pessimist.

Just to see what would happen, on the twins' birthday their
dad loaded the pessimist's room with every imaginable toy and
game. The optimist's room he loaded with horse manure.

That night the father passed by the pessimist's room and found
him sitting amid his new gifts crying bitterly.

“Why are you crying?” the dad asked.

“Because my friends will be jealous, I'll have to read all these
instructions before I can do anything with this stuff, I'll
constantly need batteries, and my toys will eventually get
broken,” answered the pessimist twin.

Passing the optimist twin's room, the dad found him dancing
for joy in the pile of manure. “What are you so happy about?” he
asked.

To which his optimist twin replied, “There's got to be a pony in
here somewhere!”

Answer:
LOL!! @ Angel…

Firstly, I agree with Kate; I think most people that appear “pessimistic” are actually only realists and can't be bothered to see “la vie en rose” all the time…

On the other hand, there’s a form of pessimism that has its roots from negative aspects of life..such as constant disappointment and lack of confidence…i,e: ” I will not answer this question because I have no chance of getting Best Answer..I never do…so what's the point?…”

Does people miss out on a lot of things!!

Answer:
For me, there are two types of pessimists:
One who s a realist and likes not to see things trough rose colored glasses and the other, who likes to take away people´s hopes by discouraging them with doubts and ifs or buts … we call them “estraga prazeres” = “fun spoilers”

Answer:
“A pessimist sees the difficulty in each opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in each difficulty.”

Answer:
You’ll find this hard to believe but I’ve been accused of being a pessimist .! Can you believe that ?
I reckon I am an optimistic pessimist….I believe good can come out of bad ….

Answer:
“A pessimist is a person who has had to listen to too many optimists.” - D. Marquis

Answer:
some people call pessimist whoever its being “realistic”

Answer:
