Answer:
very safe until you get there.

It isnt all bad. My dad went to luxor and to cairo and had no probs, but he was an old man, not a young girl…

Answer:
Yes, you should check with your travel agents/holiday rep about the best areas/places to go to.

Answer:
yeah just go with someone

Answer:
Its safe in a two them alone. If your worried about safety there are websites that will give you safety tips and you could ask your travel agent. As they are their to make money they may twist the truth so asking someone who has been maybe a better start.

Answer:
Well a guy in my class went to eqypt with is family including a kindergartener girl, a 2nd grade girl, a 6th grade girl and his parents. they had a great time but they were in the south. they said that the only problems that they had were that they had to bargain a lot.

Answer:
I am well travelled but I would not go to Egypt at present I do think it could be a problem for girls. Check online the Foreign Office advice on Egypt

Answer:
it is as safe to travel to Egypt as any where else - in fact safer than some. l have been many times with female friends and relatives and always found the Egyptians friendly and helpful - lovely people. Just be sensible and mindful that it is a Muslim country and respect their customs and you will be fine - you will have a wonderful time you will never forget [don't forget the 'quick setting cement' tablets though]. l would advise you go to a good hotel rather than roughing it, however - the hotel staff will give you information on what's what locally - take it and all will be well - tourism is their major income so you will be treated well….

Answer:
of course so safe but try to use official services

Answer:
i think it is safe to travel to egypt i love going there it is the same as any foreign holiday be sensible watch what you do and be careful where men are concerned enjoy it . it is a lovely place we go every year abd have been for the past 6 years and are going again this june

Answer:
Absolutely! I have been to Egypt approximately 35 times since 1980….as a tour escort, as part of a package group, and as an individual traveler….with my family and with my friends and with strangers. Neither myself, nor any one of my hundreds of friends who have been to Egypt have experienced the least bit of trouble.

The Egyptians are among the most hospitable, generous and welcoming people I have ever encountered….and THAT after a long lifetime spent traveling the world.

As for women traveling alone, there are normal cautions that should be observered. Like Italian men, Egyptian men have an eye for foreign women….but unlike incidents in Italy, Egyptian men usually curtail their activity to throwing kisses, or telling you they are deeply in love and cannot live without you. LOL There are no cases, to my knowledge, of ANY Egyptian man accosting a foreign woman in any other fashion than strictly verbal. If you are whistled at, or asked your name, or told "I will DIE if you do not come and have coffee with me", simply walk on and DO NOT respond unless you want to. Simply ignoring your admirer will send him on his way. Dress modestly and you will avoid a lot of attention from men…no shorts or halter tops, except in resort or beach areas.

A trick that many European women have learned, is to wear a fake wedding ring. That makes you unapproachable to most Egyptian men.

Egypt is, probably, the safest country in the world, NOW, for tourists. President Mubarrak has brought an end to 'fundametalist terrorism', with the help of the Egyptian people, who do not tolerate terrorism…for both ethical and practical reasons. It is contrary to TRUE Islamic principles; it it contrary to the ancient ideals of Arab hospitality, and it is BAD for business!!! Tourism is the THIRD largest source of income for Egypt, and many Egyptians rely on tourists for their livlihood. They are not about to do support anything that might halt the flow of tourist dollars.

GO…and have a great and safe vacation.

A Question Similar To This Was Asked And Am Gonna Respond With The Same Answer

People Here Are Very Friendly Everyone In Egypt Loves Tourists And It's Totally Safe Here Counting That You Don't Go Into Any Dark Alleys Men Can Be A Little Filrty Just Ignore Them And They'll Mind Their Own Business

The Best Mohafaza(Governorate) Would Be Sharm El Sheikh It's Packed With Resorts Beachs And Clubs The Water There Is Very Beautiful You Could Go On Bottom-Glass Ships And There Are Also Safari On Which You Could Go On

But If You Wanna See The Pyramids And The Sphinx And The Nile River You Should Go to Cairo that's Where You Could Go on A Nile Cruise A tour guide Can Show You All The Monuments And You'll Find People Selling The Useless Souvenirs That We All Love

You Can Also Go to Alexandria To See The Great Libary Of Alexandria And The Remains of The Great Lighthouse

You Could Also Go to Louxor That's Where The Valley Of The Kings And Karnak Temple And Abu Simbel

And Always Haggle They'll Make Things More Expensive Just Cause You're A Tourist

Oh…………. And To Avoid Having Stomach Ache You Should Only Drink Bottled Or Filtered Water And If Somehow You Get One You Should Go See A Doctor Don't Buy Food From The Street This Can Lead To Food Poisoning And Don't Buy Or Eat Liver Which If Not Cooked Properly Can Lead To Hepatitis And Oh Don't Eat Raw Food Like Sushi And Vegetables

You Could Go To All Four But if You're Going To Do That You Should Stay A lot Of Time Because All Four Are Different Mohfaza And For Example:-

Alexandria—>Cairo=3 or 4 hour drive

Alexandria—>Sharm El Sheikh= 7 Hour Drive

Cairo—>Sharm El Sheikh= Sorry I don't know

Alexandria–>Louxor= Sorry I don't know

Cairo—> Louxor= Sorry I don't know

Sharm El Sheikh–> Sorry I don't know

And Bring Dollars Or Euros Those Have More Value Here And You Can Easily Use it And Go In Winter Or In Summer In Summer It'll Be Blazing Hot But Tolerable And Always but Suntan On When At The Beach

Oh…. And There Is An Album I Made About Egypt on Facebook If You Have A FaceBook Account Here's The Link

Hope You Have Fun There!!

Answer:
yeah, i've seen a lot of girls travelling alone to Egypt, and it's an open country, so the scene of two girls won't w be unusual.

…good luck and travel safely.

Answer:
