I suffer from anxiety and was wondering would it be dangerous if I had a panic attack whilst on a plane. Isnt the air pressure different inside the cabin? I’ve to do these breathing exercises when I experience panic but Im worried the air in the cabin may make it harder? Does anyone know about this sort of thing?
Answer:
No, the air pressure in the cabin is adjusted when climbing/descending to match what it was on the ground. There’s a slight change, though. I would advocate speaking to your doctor to see if there is any medicine or pills you could take, or anything to help keep you calm
Answer:
You will be fine- the cabin is pressurised so it isn't a major difference. There’s less oxygen when you are at high altitudes but as i say there will still be plenty of oxygen for you to breath in. Good luck
