Is Mar del Plata too crowded in December?

I'll be in Buenos Aires in December, and I want to go to Mar del Plata (it'll be shortly before Christmas), but is it too busy at that time of year? Will we still enjoy the beaches?

Also, what's the ideal way to get there?

hey. so mardel will be a tiny bit crouded in that time of the year. but you know what? it is the best time to go there. The beaches are never too crouded. There are soo many beaches, it will never be too crouded.

The few times I went there, I went by bus from Buenos Aires. It is a 7-8 hour trip. The buses are nice and clean. However, you can always go by airplane (best way is to travel using Aerolineas Argentinas) make your reservation ASAP.

No it won’t be too crowded, the months ot is more crowded are January and February. You'll enjoy the beaches!
