I’ll be going to Argentina for 3 weeks and not sure if I should prebook or see how it is when I get there.

Answer:
If possible, i advise you book in advance, in order not to delay your itinerary and your time. I don't know whether heard of Tours4fun, it's an on the internet worldwide tour provider. My family always book tour on its website. If you log on the site, you can aslo find a lot of BA tours with different prices and days. I give you the link and you can checkout by yourself.

Answer:
If you like adventure and apreciate fantasies just see what happens. Argentina in 3 weeks means not to see everything. Arrive, taste the smell, and just go and do what you feel at that moment.
It is safe enough to travel on impuls. Great long-distance bus services, just purchase the ticket where you feel like going, bring a guide, go to local hostals. Argentina is great!

But, if you’re without fantasy and just want to do what everybody does, prebook. And remember: prebookings are rip-offs. Argentina is generally cheap, but prebookers charge you first-world prices.

Here is some info. I would advocate you taking the BAT, “Buenos Aires Tur” tours of Buenos Aires, they take you all around the city and neighborhoods, as well as trips outside of Buenos Aires. Fiesta Gaucha is one of them and they take you on a tour of the lifestyle of the Argentinian Gaucho, and also take you to eat Asado, argentinian's favorite food.

I'd suggest you book it in Argentina. This way you can change your mind about which places you'll visit, also can check with the weather and decide. If you want to know a bit more about Argentina travel, visit my blog argentinafacts.blogspot.com
Good luck!
