I once saw an article about the disappearance of African descendants in Argentina, and I wonder, is there like a specific part of the country with a significant black population? I’ve met indigenous people out in the province and in Cordoba, but never a black person. With the exception of Fidel Nadal who is a reggae musician who used to sing in the rock band Todos Tus Muertos.

Answer:
No there is not any part of the country with black people.
African descendants were sent as soldiers to the War of the Triple Alianza, and most of them were killed and black people disapeared from Argentina.

Answer:
I'm not sure who/where these black communities you're referring to are… Buenos Aires is becoming more and more cosmopolitan so nowadays you can see all kinds of people. Argentina doesnt have such big indigenous populations as other Latin American countries, but if this is the kind of culture you're looking for then you should head to the north west around Salta and Jujuy.

Hope that helps and have a great trip!

Answer:
I never saw negritos until I got to America. But, I saw them in videos like from Cuba or Puerto Rico.

I am from Salta, I been to Buenos Aires a few times, but I didn't see them there either.

Answer:
There are no black people in Argentina. The only ones that you can see are tourist or relocated people.
