I’m coming to Buenos Aires for one year as a student.?

How much will it cost me for the whole year? Accommodation, food, transport, leisure (nightlife) and etc. Very much appreciated.

Your budget? That really depends on where you live and how you wish to live.

If you are prepared to live with a host family or just rent a room, you can live cheaply, even in Centro, but should budget for ARG 800-1500 each month, the lowest is scraping by or living outside the centre and the higher-end will mean that you will have money to enjoy the city.

It is cheaper to live in Provincia, but I suppose that also depends on what university or language school you are to attend, it may be that living in Provincia will suit both your plans and budget. Note: Provincia is quite dangerous in places, crime and violence are soaring unchecked by the police. My staff is constantly being mugged for phones and money. One was approached with a handgun - although it is probably no worse than parts of New York or London!
