I'm wondering if the beaches are open for swimming in late March and what kind of clothes we should pack? Do you know what the average weather is at that time of year? We'll be in Okinawa for a week and Osaka for one. Are the cherry blossoms blooming at this time? Any suggestions on good and affordable ryokan with onsen in either Okinawa or Osaka? It's a lot of questions but I appreciate any help. Thanks!

Answer:
It might be a bit too early.

1) Only a few beaches are opened in late March in main island of Okinawa

2) In 2008, cherry blossoms had begun to bloom in late March, and were in full bloom in mid April, in Osaka.

3) You should prepare ordinary spring clothes, jacket and sweater because it might be slightly cold at night in Osaka. Of course, you should undress in Okinawa.

4) Osaka isn’t best place for onsen though Arima onsen is famous. If you want rusting hot spring I suggest you to search other area. And I don’t know there is onsen in Okinawa.

Answer:
Okinawa is wonderful. was there 1996 to 2000. i miss it so much. the weather there is the oposite than in the says, so if it's hot in the says, is cold overthere. but not too much. the coldest is like 50's.
