I’ve just returned from a 3 week holiday in Sydney. I must state, the Harbour was very nice and clean but I found many of the suburbs dirty and rough.

I drove along the Hume Highway out to Bankstown Airport each day and driving through Yagoona was like driving through a ghetto! It was graffiti covered with lots of “hobos”.

Lots of litter I noticed also. Yes I loved Sydney but what do you consider the graffiti and litter?

Answer:
Yes, some suburbs are dirtier than others..

What you stated about yagoona made me laugh..

Where i live, which is in the south west.. Its not that dirty.. There is graffiti around, but i wouldnt think about it as a lot. It depends on the people who live in the suburbs.. Some people are litter bugs.. some people arent..

I love Sydney.. But i cant walk around my suburb at night anymore, especially if i need to walk down to the shops swiftly.. Its getting perilous.. Too many little arab children bashing people.. at the bus stops.. I'm not racist, but if you lived where i live, and walk down the road, you’ll see a lot of them standing around the middle of the road, thinking they own the place.

But i consider Sydney to be quite clean.. I love it here.. I reckon the graffiti and litter is part of Sydney.. but it would be even superior if it was clean..

Answer:
It's cleaner than a lot of cities in this world, though it certainly has its skanky bits. Not sure I like you complaining about the “hobos” as you call them though. They're just people without a place and they've got worse troubles than whether you think they're clean or not.

Answer:
Sydney is considered one of the cleanest cities in the world.

Compare any other city you could think about……(NY,LA,Paris,TO,Abu Dhabi)

Sydney is cleaner ….

Answer:
In some places it's clean, and in others it's dirty.

Answer:
