I grew up being taught how to use firearms (Farm girl) and became a very good shot. Foxes, feral cats, rabbits were all game. I even had a rifle scabbard on my saddle. I was taught NEVER to point a gun at something I didn’t intend to kill.

Having been taught all that was fine. My nephew was also taught the same, but still managed to shot himself accidentally. There is only one way to protect the innocent from idiots and that is tight gun laws and stiff penalties for those who disregard them.

Bikers, drug lords and gangsters might have illegal firearms, but because ordinary citizens don't also have them, the bikers, drug lords and gangsters only shoot each other and everyone else is pretty safe. We have enough idiots in this country without arming them too!
