I concur with Katie, I to live here in Toronto, and June until September and most time right up to Halloween are fine, there’s lots to do, the weather is more predictable, and the scenery is just great, I am a former chef so the markets like Kensington close to were I live, the St Lawrence weekend ones are chock full of local produce and crafts. And then there are all the ethnic areas, the 4 Chinatown regions, Greektown, Little India, Korean Village and North York has some also, and you cannot forget a trip to “Honest Ed's” Bargain Emporium on Bathurst and Bloor, you can’t mis it.
And for side trips to state Kleinburg to the McMicheal A.G or Kortright Conservation area for the foliage and fresh air can’t be beat, and with the other more massive metropolitan areas like London, Kitchener Waterloo and Hamilton all with in a 1/2 hour 1 1/2 hour trip, you can see more and experience all that the area has to offer.
