Were there any food recall in Jamaica for products with peanuts?

I'm sending a barrel down for family and wanted to know what they might be short on due to the recall as most likely whatever was good will cost a lot more.

The recall for those products was global and definately included Jamaica. Just make sure that you arent sending goods that are on the recall list. They would be confiscated at customs.

I’ve been in a couple supermarkets in my area since, and peanut products are not missing. You could however contact your relatives to find out what’s the situation in there area. It is possible that it is much different from mine.
