I just got back from this cruise (yesterday), I didn’t care about it. My first time cruising Carnival. The employees were great, but the food was not how people rave about. And the boat rocked so bad the last night…you could not even stand straight. Is it because the Sensation is old…..or is it just Carnival line. The food was like college cafeteria food (excluding the captain's Dinner).

if you didn’t eat in the dining room every night, I can state yes, you got buffet type foods. or cafeteria type food.
It also depends on what you had.
the sensation has a stabalizer problem hince the reason it is in port canaveral and not NOLA.
you probably also hit a rain storm at sea on Saturday. I know they were showing real hard storms in that area on the map.
It isn’t all carnival ships that are like that. The sensation is due for referb (6 weeks) in Jan/Feb. returning on Feb 14.
before you give up on Carnival, try another ship.
We only cruise Carnival and have been on Sensation 2 times. and headed to Glory for the 3rd time in just 32 days.
