Where to fly into for cruise?

I’m going to cruise out of Miami in May and I was wondering if I should just fly into Miami because I have seen lots of stuff for transportation out of Ft. Lauderdale. So I am not sure what is the best place to go

Many flights are much cheaper going into Ft. L and transportation to Miami is reasonable. Fly into Miami unless there’s a big price difference. From my city, it is about $150.00 per person price difference and it cost $75. to go to Miami, so I save over $250. and it only takes about 25 minutes from the Lauderdale airport to the Miami pier.

I have flown into Miami a couple of times and have never had any problem getting to the cruise terminal, either arranging the transfer myself or using the cruise transfer.
I traveled from the UK, so Miami was better for us, because the flight times were always more suitable.

Great if you can come into Miami, if you fly into Ft.Lauderdale you will have be a lot further, but if you can get to the port then Ft. Lauderdale should be fine.

fly into miami ! you can see the cruise ships lined up at the dock when the plane is preparing for landing, it's a site to see ! plus the airport is very close to the dock !
