I have been on two cruise ships…the freedom of the seas, and the carnival valor. I’m planning a cruise to the bahamas but am worried about motion sickness, since the ships that go to the bahamas are significantly smaller than the previous ships I have been on…Can the difference be felt very much?
Freedom was 160,000 tons
Valor was 110,000 tons
and the one I'm looking at is anywhere from 65-75,000 tons :o/
Answer:
I’ve been on both Sovereign of the Seas (retired) and Monarch of the Seas. They are both 73,941 tons and the only time I felt anything was during a storm, the was a slight vibration in the Schooner Bar, that was it.
