How is the weather in amsterdam now and how will the weather be like around april 13?

i am going to amsterdam in april i just hope its warm enough to walk around with just a jacket

I think just a jacket is enough. I mean, you won't need gloves, scarf, earmuffs, or hat.

But be prepared for rain. Wear shoes that will repel water and take an umbrella adn waterproof jacket like Goretex. The averages for April are high 55/low 38 F = 13/3 C. If you're lucky you'll have some sun and it will be perfect for strolling around town.

It is pretty much like Britain in the summer (it is less than 100 miles away at the shortest point!) - but in the winter and spring it can be bitterly cold, and sporadic snowfall can last well into the spring. It is also very exposed to wind from the North Sea.

Just back this week and the weather bitter cold at night.I am fit 20 something and didnt feel out of place in jacket and pull on hat. April i have been as well, warm(ish) daytime, but night time still cold.Everybody wears dark colours by the way.
