It is a nice island if you want to make family holidays, with many good hotels (the whole island is filled literary with hotels), nice beaches and places to visit. There is even a growing trend of cycling among the visitors to the island when they travel around. If you’re mainly interested in clubbing, other Greek islands like Mykonos are way superior imo. There is basically one road in the city of Kos that is filled with many small bars along it. More info.

Kos is a very nice island for family fun with many very nice hotels and beaches. The main road has many traditional Greek bars but if you want the night life and clubs, Mykonos has more for you. Now if you want to party, go to Athen. Northern Greece like Macedonia, where my family comes from, and Thessaly are also beautiful places. Salonika is a Party town.
