I loved it! I strongly recommend it.

If you read it what did you think? What did you like best?

Answer:
I liked this book very much as well! I felt it was not only an impressive story, but it also impressed me in the way that I was absorbed ín the story. It made me think about the good and bad things you do yourself in life, and how easy we people hurt each other. Not only the ones we hate, but also the ones we love.

Of course there are also people who criticize the book, which is understandable because it's a sensitive subject (and with that there are always people seeing things from different sides). But I think the writer deserves credit for moving people all over the world and make them think about the 'bigger picture'.

Answer:
I have and his follow up book (not related to Kite Runner) is just as awesome! I had to read it for a religious studies class and we had the chance to go see him at a book signing in SF- he lives out here somewhere as well. I liked everything about the book. It kept my interest the entire time and I couldn't put it down- same thing with Thousand Splendid Suns. I read both books in a day or two.

Answer:
best book in a LONG time. Harsh, realistic and still very poetic in its writing style. fantastic book

Answer:
I saw the movie yesterday. In my opinion, it's the best film running in the theatres at the moment (I saw practically every candidate for the Oscars so I can really tell).

I won't tell what I liked most. It was such a powerful picture.

I bought the book a week ago and I have still the intention to read it.

Answer:

Answer:
In my opinion, this book and HOLLYWOOD movie are propagandist. That is impossible that we are persuaded by this kind of things.

I really wonder that why didn't Hosseini ,who lives in USA,return back to protect his country(Afganistan)during the USA military occupation? I suppose the "author" Khaled Hosseini is the "politician" KARZAI.

We must criticise the TALIBAN but wonder very much whether "well educated and intellectual" Hosseini will be able to write the novel of Afgan and Irak massacres done by USA ,who represents himself as the preventer of the HUMAN RIGHTS(!).

And i wonder again that does anyone know how many innocent women and children were murdered in Afganistan?

And so,do we know the reduction n opium production after USA occupation(Taliban was prohibited the OPIUM production)? Does USA finance these Afgan and Irak occupations with this "OPIUM MONEY"?

Answer:
i read a brief review of it some months ago, at that time i said i should read it, but i haven't done it yet!
