Why do people immigrate to France?

What are some of the reasons people first started moving to France from other countries?

They immigrate to work and earn money. Most of them come from Africa or Nothern Africa (former french colonies… ) and it's easier for them to immigrate in France than in other countries (language, relations between France and their country…)

Cheese, wine, croissants, great climate (from the best skiing mountains in the world to sunny beaches and fertile farmlands and forests) laid back, relaxed lifestyle, casual attitude to unnecessary rules and regulations, proximity to the rest of Europe. Need I go on?

I dont know, but ive heard that its beautiful. and it has Paris, the city of love , and the food, the people and it has a surten other something that makes people fall in love with it. I was planing to move there after I finish school.

The immigrant come in France for working. They accept the first job than they find. Most of the time they work in a building company and do the job than the French won't do.
