What kind of clothes do they wear in paris france?

Believe it or not there just like everyone else. I had the same fear when I went in might and everyone was casual, jeans and tops.

Oh, and a bit of Lacoste when they want to feel a bit “of the people”.

Basically the same seasonal weather as the East Coast, so the clothes vary with the weather.

It also depends on the age-group, the person's wallet and susceptibility to fashion trends. If you go to the 16th, everywhere you'll see people very well dressed with what are probably designer labels. If you go to Bastille, it's more arty, though some of the gear will probably be branded too. But essentially, it's GAP, Levi's Celio and the usually high-street stores that dominate
