iv never been there before , im 17 , all i want from my holiday on monday is hot weather , nice beaches , and for the place too not be a shithole, wat should i expect?


Answer:
If you've ever been to France before then the same rules generally apply, meaning great food, culture and sites. The weather is also beautiful this time of year (I went August, 2 years ago and it was still nice). You should anticipate to see some of the most beautiful and historic sites you'll probably ever see, such as the University of Montpellier (one of the oldest educational institutions in the world according to my tour guide). Also, if you don't talk any French, you're going to have to be more selective of the places you eat, visit etc. because English speakers, I found, are far more rare in Montpellier than other Francophone countries. I went there after a year of foreign exchange in France so I didn't have any problems with the language, but going there without any prior linguistic predilection with the French language would be daunting. You will have an amazing time there no matter what you do. Good luck.
