Answer:
The answer is no.
Since this “question” is being asked every few days I take it that the Chinese ministry of propaganda has decided to make this an issue to distract attention from its appalling record of human rights violations and the current economic distress being felt everywhere.
Since the people in this forum probably don't know about the full depth of Communist perfidy and the dishonest manipulation of the internet to suit the illegitimate criminal regime holding power on the mainland they’ve a right to know the answer to the following question.
Are you a regular paid employee of the government? Or are you part of the regime's formal program of paying shills to parrot the party line all over the internet by pretending to be ordinary users?
Answer:
Oh come on, as if China didn't and still doesn't rob from other people? Or worse, from ITS OWN people?
The antiques had been legally acquired by private individuals, and now it is the intent of the private owner to sell them (to raise fund for charity, may I add). Stated owner, Berge, had offered to gift it back to China, but only if China starts to respect human rights and return Tibet to its people.
The 5 pieces that are currently in China were also sold in previous occasions, only they were purchased by Chinese philantropists and loyals and gifted them to China. So if someone wants these pieces now to belong to China, they can do the same. Purchase the pieces and gift them to the government. In fact, the guy who bidded for it can start by paying the money he pledged for the pieces.
Stop blaming everyone else and think China as entitled to totally everything that the government thinks they're entitled to. It is unfair and it is a bullish behaviour.
Answer:
.Has the chinese govt ever asked France for the return of these antiques. The problem is these antiques are not the property of the french govt. They are part of a private collection.Which the owners bought legitimately.
