obviously theres good shopping in Paris, but what are some cool (and not super expensive) boutiques where I can find fun, bohemian-ish clothes?

look for neighborhood like “LE MARAIS” which is gay headquarters or “BEAUBOURG” right in the heart of town, or “RUE OBERKAMPF” traditional location, very old
all of those 3 have a subway station under their names
