We’re planning on visiting some friends and we have to cross the border. But i know the wait times can be long. So when is the ideal time to go? Don't large trucks usually try to cross like 5-6am in the morning too?

Hi yes your right, boarding crossing early is a great plan ,make sure it's not over a weekend ,school holidays or public holiday to make it even shorter time wise & check that all have all required documents before hand [persons vehicle] necessary also helps with crossing.
