so me and a few of my friends are planning a group vacation. We all live in Canada, we're trying to decide between somewhere in Europe, or either California or Florida in the US?

What do you suggest and why? If you've got links to attractions that would be great!
Thx

Answer:
I would advocate Florida in the US. Its pretty warm down there and its a great place for spring break. You could mostly go to Disney World or just chill at the beaches. Plus the airplane tickets might be a bit cheaper going to Florida than Europe maybe even California. Florida is a great experience, i would really advocate you and your friends to go there. :D
Good luck :D

How long are you able to travel and what’s your budget?

If you can take an extended trip and have a hearty budget, Europe is a blast. In six or so crazy weeks, you can see most of the large cities in Western Europe. If you’ve a couple of weeks, you could focus on one country, like Italy for instance, and get a really good feel for the country.

Western Europe in Six Weeks:
Week 1: London 3 Days, Dublin 2 Days, Galway Bay 2 Days
Week 2: Fly to Rome 4 Days (1 in Pompeii), 2 Days Venice, 1Day Milan
Week 3: Train up to Salzburg 2 Days, Vienna 2 Days, Interlaken 3 Days
Week 4: Berlin 3 Days, Munich 2 Days, Amsterdam 2 Days
Week 5: Paris 3 Days, Lyon 2 Days, Barcelona 2 Days
Week 6: fly back to London, up to Glasgow 3 Days, 3 Days London and home

Two Weeks in Italy:
Arrive in Venice 2 Days
Milan 2 Days
Florence 3 Days
Four Days Rome
1 Day Pompeii
2 Days Naples
Back to Rome and home

If your budget and time constraints are smaller, then the US is also a good choice. There's less culture shock here (for better and for worse!) Depending on which end of Canada you live in, California and Florida might both be pretty financially feasible choices!

Top sights in California on a short trip:
Hollywood
San Francisco
San Diego

Top sights in Florida for a short trip:
Miami
The Keys
Orlando

You can do Disney either place. California is less oppressively humid, but Florida also offers the Everglades.

while there will be amazing places where-ever you select, I would recommend considering the currency exchange rate and include that in your decision. with a weaker dollar, your money may be worth more here and you can get more bang for your buck in the weaker american economy since businesses are desperate to get people in the door and are offering a lot of huge specials/discounts.

Answer:
the florida keys

lots of fun things to do!
