how long would it take to get there by car? plane? bus ect ??
you can estimate if you enjoy it would still be much appriciated?
Answer:
Take a plane, it will take about an hour flying time. Train or bus will be much more inconvenient, take longer, and will be more costly than a cheap flight. Using the vehicle is something I really wouldn't suggest for such a distance. The shortest way will lead you through two other countries, Slowenia and the Czech Republic, and will still be 756 kilometers, and note that in the Czech Republic, they might charge tolls for using their freeways, payable in the local currency (they don't have the Euro yet). Google estimates 7 1/4 hours by automobile, but that's only when there's no traffic jam. Trains and busses will probably take longer, so a plane seems reasonable.
By automobile, you could take a detour, avoiding Slowenia and Czech Republic, by driving direction Linz, then Regensburg/Germany, and then head for Berlin. You would avoid the tollways (in Germany, only trucks have to pay toll) and be there in an estimated 8 1/2 hrs, total distance around 900 km. — I know the Autobahn between Regensburg and Berlin; it's well maintained, and on some sections, it doesn't have a speed limit. Which might be useful if you drive at night, when there's little traffic. You really could make it in 8 1/2 hrs then, but something like 10 or 11 sounds more realistic to me.
Answer:
go to google.com,click on 'maps', and click on directions and what not. type in 'from' vienna, and 'to' berlin.it gives you estimated amount of time, very reliable ^^
