1. I have a degree in German (2:2) and looking to move to Germany. I’ve an intermdiate fluency in German with basic grammar skills and looking for an English language job using English in the workplace and German outside as my German isn’t amazingly fluent.

2. I am arriving with one suitcase and a laptop. Can someone give me tips/advice on how to find an apartment and get a visa (I am from the UK)?

3. Can someone suggest a job I could get in Germany meeting the first criteria? I really want to improve my German and this is the purpose of the move.

Any tips/advice would be very much appreciated!

Answer:
Are there German language jobs in the UK?
No same over here the national language is German so the right way would be to learn German and than look for a job there are no decent jobs you can live on which does not require you to talk German.
I would suggest a course with Goethe institute and afterwards come here and look for a job at the Arbetsagentur.
Also don’t stay close the border to Beligium etc that region has the highest unemployment of the western part chose Bavaria or Baden Württemberg.

Answer:
Bad timing unemployement in Germany is high. You do not need a visa you are European.
Just go to the job center in the town of your choice but stay away from the old east Germany, keep to the extreme west near Belgium, Luxembourg etc.
