I’ve my sister travelling with me. So would rather train…
I want to start frm Trivandrum and return back to Trivandrum itself….

You can travel up to Coimbatore by train, You can arrange for your to & fro reservations. Take a bus to ooty from Coimbatore.
Otherwise travel upto Mettupalayam again by Train from Coimbatore and thereafter by the narrow gauge train service to ooty..
