Can anybody inform which days are weekly govt. holidays?
In other words, weekends in Bangladesh.
I know Friday is a holiday. In Bangladesh, do they have one day or two-day holidays? Which days?

We have Fridays & Saturdays as our official weekly holidays in Bangladesh. Government offices and multinational companies and such 'foreign' organizations dutifully enjoy two days off, but the factories working under them have to be content with one-day holiday on Friday.
Some Banks and other financial institution have Saturday half-working day till 12 noon when they wouldn’t do any transactions but will perform other paper works related with business, like processing L/C's TTs etc.
Btw, private enterprises, factories and shops run by private companies, the weekly holiday are mostly for one-day (Friday). We small business entrepreneurs could hardly afford the luxury to keep our businesses shut for two days since the overall business situation is getting so competitive that if you keep your shop close for two days then you may risk loosing some valuable order whether for internal sale or export sale.

well in india it is usually sunday.if you’re a government employee,it is a holiday each day.i can get your answer if possible..just mail me the additional details.i mean whether private or government.
