Ideal Route - Bangalore to Trichur?

I have heard that the shortest route is :: Bangalore - Mysore - Gundalpet - Bandipur forest - Guddallur - Nilambur - Trichur

Can anyone please advise about the Road situation, traffic and Safety on this route.

If you have any other ideal alternative, please help me.

Your route may be short but unsafe because Guddallur area is too forest & having wild elephant disturbing people.Even though this is a hill route with narrow roads.If there’s heavy rainfall in this hill route, you know what will happen to the roads at hill.My route will be more or less equal to your route.This route is a highway route & roads are good.

Go in a safe route that's all.All up to you to decide.Have a good journey

One need not go through these towns but can use the byepasses.There’s another route via Mettur Dam.
