Does kissing the blarney stone REALLY give you the gift of the gab or is it just a saying?

Someone once told me this but don't know if there is any truth in it. lol

It's probably just a saying, like saying “hello” to the tiny people under/in/on the Fairy Bridge on the Isle of Man and tossing coins into a wishing well and making a wish. It's only what you believe in……….I'd never kiss the Blarney Stone unless you are given “wipes” first..ugh, think of all those nasty mouths on it……………
