Weather Wise it should be pretty nice especially during this time of year

Um..there is Kilkenny Castle, that’s aboslutely lovely

It has many festivals for you to care about but I'm not sure if they have many at this time maybe during the end of summer

Lots of walking trails and nature reserves

Its very enjoyable and there are soo many things

look around when you get there and you'll definately find something

Pity I didn't see this … I used to go out in Kilkenny, it's a great place for pubs and poetry readings and that kind of thing. Always lots happening, with music sessions too.

There's an Arts Festival and the Festival of Comedy, called The Cat Laughs, as cats are associated with Kilkenny. Report Abuse

it is warm usually because it is inland! but it is the same as any other place here in ireland! it can be lovely one day and awful the next! kilkenny castle is probably what it is most well known there!! it is called a city but it is tiny in comparison to dublin and cork!

Apart from the castle as the others have said, it really is just a very nice town, very clean and well laid out.
