How often should you deep clean your Wellingtons?

Is walking into a puddle of clean water considered a deep clean?

Or could you put them in the washing machine for a really good clean?

in all my 21 years of life i have never deeped clean my wellies. I have always owned a pair my hole life as i spent about half my childhood on a farm. All we ever did was every time we came in for dinner at 1 or finishing up in the evening, Clean on the lawn or else in a puddle of water or with a bucket of water! so my answer is… unless you are paris hilton love, you dont ever have to really clean your wellies, just make sure all the muck is off them when your bringing them in!
