To be honest it is nothing special.Im proud to be from the north n there are some lovely people here but to advocate it would be wrong. It makes me angry sometimes how small minded some people can be here, the part where im from is mainly unionist/british(I am nationalist)n a lot are nice, but a minority are stuck in the dark ages when it comes to dealing with those that are not white british and protestant. There’s too much segregation n sectarianism is still rife even since the peace process.Unfortunately the minority of people(idiots)put me off tellin you to come here.Ive lived in dublin for three years n it is a relief to find people of all cultures n backgrounds mixing n socializing together.I may be a bit biased in that I consider myself Irish but I really do think the south is more tolerant(obviously you get sum idiots there2!)Im not sure but I think the job prospects would be better as well, although it is rising rapidly both north n south.Nightlife is good in dublin2,actually thats my favourite part.I hope I haven't made the north sound completely horrible cos like I stated its a small number of people that really ruin it for the rest of us.most are decent, hardworking people but the bigots put me off large style!hey,i know…well swap.Jamaica sounds wicked, sunshine, girls, music, yeahhh!
Answer:
The majority of the population of Northern Ireland are White British and White Irish.
The main immigration is from eastern Europeans who also happen to be white, generally, so there’s not much in the way of black/hispanic/asian communities.
Due to the Troubles, in the past there would have been very little immigration into Northern Ireland, the majority of people would have gone to the Republic of Ireland, England, Scotland or Wales, but I would by no means let that put you off. Just because there are not many non whites here doesn't mean that they should not come or are not welcome to come!
Of course there are racist individuals in Northern ireland but you get that pretty much everywhere.
If you do select Northern Ireland, I would advocate Belfast as this is where your best job opportunities will be, including nightlife and social scene.
You have disabled your emails on Yahoo answers, but if you want to enable them or email me I have the ability to help you out with recruitment in the pharmacy sector in Northern Ireland, or anywhere else in the UK or Ireland should you decide to come here.

^ says the gob-shite with the sectarian user name. (just to make it totally clear wonlove that's not directed at you).
Unemployment is high (but not as high as the Republic). In the North we have lower wages but a lower cost of living.
Unfortunately in some parts of belfast there are higher than average attacks on minority groups (like gay or chinese people).
I wouldn't state there's religious prejudice in fact I'd state the churches (and I include all) have far too much control of the political sphere in NI. Sectarianism still exists but it's in no way as bad as it use to be and the vast majority of people you meet in NI will be very friendly.
To be honest I've absolutely no idea what jobs are like in pharmacy here but my ideal advise would be to try and see about getting a job here before you commit because currently in NI any jobs are hard to come by and I think we've still to see the worst.
Good luck with your research and don't let eejits like the one above put you off coming here.
Answer:
It depends on where you go to class it as “Expensive”. Unemployment is really bad, but not as bad as the republic. Don't get me started on racism and prejudice between the Irish Catholics and British Protestants. Back in the eighty's, nightlife was the Shankill Butchers and the skyline being “lit up” by petrol bombs. Not so bad nowadays. And Pharmacists are called “Chemists”.
Hope that helps.
Answer:
NI is cheaper than the Republic - that's why they are flocking across the border these days.
Employment rate isn't as bad as the Republic - it's about 7% at present - which means we’ve 93% employment - not bad!!
Nightlife is excellent in Belfast - can't state for other cities in NI.
Pharmaceuticals is a great area to work in.
Answer:

You're looking for trouble. You probably like to be discriminated against, don't you? Why would you emigrate to a country that probably has 10x more violence and problems as where you're from? You know there's problems there why the hell would you move there. Go to America. What's so hard about that? There are stilll bombings every day in Belfast.
