Buy Italian Vogue, if your truly obsessed with fashion-like me. If your not looking to spend a lot of money I would go look at some online pics, whether though travel blogs or other but then you can observe the ppl in the pictures.

Another thing is Italians and americans differ in that they have a specific outfit for a specific thing-and girls rarely wear shorts or sphagetti tops (only to the pool)

Search on the internet for Italian magasines. Just put the name of a magasine you know and add .it

example: www.vogue.it

You'll find all you need in magasines.

I think that google will be really helpful to you.

People here like to dress a lot in D&G and Armani.

Anyway fashion in Italy really isn't that different to the USA, the thing is that Italians give more importance to it.

So on the magasines you have you'll find the same things you find here.
