There’s good surfing all over Costa Rica you just have to know the right season and get a little lucky with weather conditions and swell.
The best time to surf Hermosa is from April to November.
Hermosa holds the International Quicksilver Surf Championships August each year. Playa Hermosa was also selected to host and organize the Billabong World Surfing Games Costa Rica 2009.
So there's good surf there.
