well Colombia don,t have the regular 4 season's like in USA, but they have rain and dry season , Bogota temperatures is in average 35-60 in day and some times at night will drop to 28-40 , people in Bogota don't use long Johns , they normally use jeans, sweaters and cotton or insulate jackets, in times or cold periods or night times,Bogota is localized at 2600 meters in the mountains ,so in average for a tropical region is Cold, if you come from US specially north you just be fine in a sweater or a hood sweater over regular cloths,or regular cloths and thermo cloths under you will warm, but if you come from a high temperature you will filling cold, so prepare you self.
