16 year old us citizen traveling alone to mexico, what are the requirements, is there papers that have to be signed? how are the immigration officers delt with? is the child asked anything or is it taken care of since they’re minors?
Answer:
you need your passport. And you'll need a notorized letter from your parents allowing you to travel. Notorized means they ened to write up a permission form (don't sign it yet). take it to a post office (most are notoaries there) and they’ve to sign it in FRONT of the person. The person then stamps it to state they did. your parents will need to bring ID with them and this will probably cost $10 - $20 per letter (get 2 duplicates in case one gets lost). if you're parents aren't together you will need a note from both even if one is your primary guardian.
For the airport part: Someone will be with you from the time you check in and say bye to your parents til when you get on the plane. Even though at 16, you might have the option of not having to do this. It really depends on the airline and if your parents request it or not.
Have fun
Answer:
They take care of you really well. You’ve quite a bit of papers to fill out, by going to the website, and on your ticket it will state Minor. They watch you like a hawlk, walk you on and off theplane, and handle all of your papers.
Answer:
