We're planning to travel to Cancun next early Apr, by then my new born baby will be 2 mons old. Is there any concern for traveling? like vaccine, weather? Shoul we keep this plan? Thx for the info.

Answer:
Can you? yes. Should you? No. The baby would be exposed to all the new germs on the plane, and at the resort. Tiny ones are just getting an immunity built up. Bombarding it's system with all new germs could cause unnecessary illness. Plus what on earth are you going to do at a resort with a new baby? It can't sit in the beach in the sun or swim in the ocean. Your neighbors at the hotel won't be too thrilled to hear a crying baby in the middle of the night. Are you going to leave a new born baby in the care of a total stranger hired by a hotel at minimum wage? Isn't there a grandma who would be thrilled to babysit?

Since I moved to Mexico I have had a couple doozies of head colds because I wasn't used to the virus that caused them.

Answer:
There are no special vaccines for the baby. For you, I would consider Hepatitis B vaccine if you haven't received it already (it takes 3 shots total over a period of time but some immunity is superior than none).

If the baby is breast feeding the immunity of the mother should help the baby. There are immunoglobulins in the milk, specifically IgA.

Weather should be fine.

Remember that babies can't equilibrate the pressure their ears very well and might make a lot of noise on the flight.

It would be a challenge to bring one that little, but if you’re resourceful, you can manage it. You may want to think about renting a condo with a kitchen, for fixing bottles, babyfood, formula, etc. There’s a link that has more information below.

Answer:
i dont think you should take the bby out, i mean theres all kinds of sicknesses out theree. and the plane, is just going to be terrible for the baby.

Answer:
There’s NO WAY you should even be considering going to CancĂșn with a new born baby.
