Hey! I'm going on my first each Spring Break trip to Cancun in a few weeks! What should I bring with me?
(We're staying in an all-inclusive, so food and drinks are covered).
Also - I heard you should bring things for the locals that work at the resorts. Like shampoo, soap etc… is that true?

A couple thoughts that might be useful:
* sunblock /suntain oils: be aware that some of the parks require that any lotions you bring in be “bio degradable” — it will probably be cheaper for you to buy the “right stuff” before you get on the plane vs. paying tourist hot spot prices
* I would forget about the shampoo, soap advice. People who work in resorts would *FAR* rather get cash as a tip than *ANY* “useful item” that somebody advised you to get. The old adage “money talks, bullsh*t walks” never rang truer…
