It depends on what you want.
If you want adventure, jet boats, abseiling, skiing, tramping etc, NZ is the place.
It is winter at present so skiing is going off right now.
Fishing, is year round, excellent charter tours available.
Public transport is limited to cities, otherwise it's taxi or car rental.
Plenty of diverse cultures for dining.
Night life plenty, but like other countries, don't display your cell phones etc.
Are you coming for the rugby?
Good luck.

If you come here don't be in a hurry and you will get a bit of lip about rugby. As you guys have always been the respected enemy when it comes to rugby most will welcome you.
