Hi James. Heli-skiing is awesome - it's even better in the South Island. Depending on your ability and how many runs you want to do, it would cost between $700 and $1,000. You can usually buy an extra run for $100 on the day. If you're looking at travelling around NZ in a campervan I would recommend you check out our fleet. Our Base Jumpers are practically built for the snow - they are fully kittted out and have a diesel heater, drying room, snow chains, heaps of room for your boards/skis. The cool thing is - you can park up the mountain for the night and make your own fresh tracks the next day. At the moment we’ve a deal going with Alpine Heli-Ski NZ and for each day you hire a campervan we will give you $35.00 to spend towards heli-skiing or on other attractions around the North or South island… James, don't get me wrong, even if you're not keen on a campervan experience, I still advocate you go heli-skiing in Queenstown. It's absolutely beautiful; there's nothing quite like carving your signature down untouched slopes!
