Proposition 92A, banning illegal music and video downloads in new zealand. and if you download illegally, your internet gets cut off. it was going to come in to place this day but i only just heard about it.
what is happening?

Answer:
Actually, it has passed. What has happened though is that its implementation has been postponed so that those involved can try to reach agreement about what should happen.

It's section 92A of the Copyright Act 1994, and it's designed to protect people's copyright - but the controversy is over the “punishment without trial” aspect - the fact that you can have your world wide web account cut off on the basis of an accusation only.

Answer:
Ha ha, they’re becoming really crazy in New Zealand….
Arresting people for uploading silly videos…. slicing off people for downloading (forbidden????) music….

P.S. Free Biggles !!!! (Or was he arrested in Australia? Doesn't matter, same area to me.) :-)))

Answer:
They have changed their minds about the whole thing. If they went ahead with it, no doubt half of new zealand would of had their internet cut off.

Answer:
No, it hasn't been passed.
The Government is having second thoughts.

Answer:
I never heard about it.

Answer:
