I've been trying to research it, and although I'm finding predicted temperatures, I'm finding it difficult to visualise. If there is anyone - particularly an Erasmus student who has stayed out in Granada for a year and has some insight into what the weather will be like (I have 15kg to pack accordingly :s) I would very much appreciate it. Also, if any comparisons can be made to London weather (i.e does it get as cold - is it breezy, etc) I would be very grateful. It's just a tiny confusing all these figures being thrown at me, I would rather experiences instead, if possible.
Just wanna ask this because I spent a month in Germany, and it was scorching hot at the beginnning of the stay and freezing towards the end and I didn't have the right balance of clothes…
Thanks!

Granada gets very warm during the daytime, but because it is in the mountains, stays much cooler than much of the rest of AndalucĂa. It's always a good idea to have some sort of jacket or sweater for the evenings. The flowers will still be in bloom in the gardens at least until the end of October (my first trip there was in October - I have some pretty good pics from the gardens). You should be able to walk around in shirtsleeves during the day, but might want something for the evenings.
Go to the gypsy caves for the flamenco show, but avoid them around the Cathedral. We’d to practically PICK them off of us after the third time that we circled around. (there was a market going on in front of the Cathedral, and the Capilla Real was shut for Siesta, so we had to return because I really wanted to see it. By the third time around, it was like burrs stuck to your clothing - they were so persistent!)
If you are going to get any marquetery work, go to a workshop where you can actually SEE the craftsman at work. You are much more likely to get the real thing that way, and avoid the ones that have mom of pearl in them…that's NOT made in Spain!
Definitely try to get to the Mirador de San Francisco for the ideal views of the Alhambra (I think it's Francisco - I might have the wrong saint…people will point you the right direction), then stroll back to town through the AlbaicĂn. Really pretty walk!
If it should get that cold, they DO sell sweatshirts and such around town.
Enjoy! It's one of my favorite cities!

I think at the moment it is quite warm, but I have been in Granada in March and there was thick snow. (Good for skiing in the Sierra!) Just take light autumn type clothes (the evening will definitely be cool) and something if the weather is hotter. It's always going to be superior weather than the UK at this time of year.
Granada is a beautiful city. Have a great time.
