I'm goin to move to Boston to go to college and I wanted to know if you can rent a U-haul in a different say and turn it into the closest U-haul area instead of driving back to the same place were I got the U-haul.

Yes, that's the good thing about U-Haul. You’ll pay extra for not turning it in at the same place, but you can do that. I took one from Florida one way to Ohio. Be sure to buy the insurance.

And, yeah…that's kind of the whole point of U-haul…you move yourself. Who the heck is going to move from New York to LA, then return the truck to New York?
