If you have could you tell me what you thought of the place, and what’s like.
Is there a pub? and shops etc.
A few of us are thinking of going camping there in a couple of weeks. I've heard there are some fantastic cliffs.
Answer:
I passed through … we were staying in Inverness and drove up to catch the John o'Groats ferry over to Orkney … there wasn't much there … there was a hotel and a sort of holiday village place which had a nice beach … there isn't cliffs actually at John o'Groats much, they're a bit further along the coast
I did a search for John o'Groats on Flickr, the photo sharing website, and this is what it pulled up … you might find it interesting to browse through them

the ferry over to Orkney is well worth the trip … it's a foot ferry …

if you want to take a automobile you've got to go from the other place further along the coast (can't remember the name but I'm sure you'd find it on google
Answer:
The ideal cliffs are to the west between JohnO'Groats and Dunnet head.
Yes there are shops and a hotel with a bar. Wick and Thurso have supermarkets.
If you are camping there is a Youth Hostel there and also a Tongue to the west.
