Please help the ideal you can. Anything and everything contributes. I’ve some places in mind, but I would love to hear your suggestions.

Answer:
Love London to bits. There’s plenty to see and do. All depends how much time and budget you have, mate….and what interests you.

If you are a big fan of all things royal:

Buckingham Palace and the Changing of the Guard.

Tower of London (for the Crown Jewels)

Hampton Court Palace (Henry VIII's abode)

If you are a world-class museums buff:

British Museum

Natural History Museum

If you’re keen on open spaces & scenic quiet spots in a busy city:

Hyde Park

Regent's Park

Maida Vale (for the canals, folks call this place Lil' Venice)

Kew Gardens (for all things botanical).

If you’re a science / engineering nut:

Greenwich Museum (to see the Greenwich Line and Atomic Clock)

Take a boat out to the Thames Barrier

I would not give the many colourful markets a miss:

Portobello Market (go on a Saturday for the full experience)

Camden Lock Market

Brixton Market

Greenwich Market

Borough Market (for fresh produce and generally, the “market” feel)

And since you are in London, do not miss out on the West End theatres and surroundings. You must watch a West-End show!

Traflagar Square and Piccadilly Circus

Leicester Square (to buy half-price theatre tickets).

There are plenty of websites out there that can direct you where to go, so I will list just 2 here and let you explore.

Have fun!
