I would say no and I have been living here for around 36 years!
There has been some in the last couple of decades, but there really isn't a gang culture here. There are definitely some dudes sellings drugs and other naughty things, but most aren't of the violent persuasion….

The St Pauls area is very bad, lot of knives not much gun crime.
