I've always loved the colder weather, and obviously out here in cali we dont get that much snow so i'd love snow. And really just want the full college expierence. I've also always wanted to see what the eastcoast is like. So if you can fill me in what the weather is like does it snow? rain or whatever will help. Or any other helpful tips like if philly is a nice city, entertainment…im a large sports fan =)

Answer:
I go to college in Philly and have lived here all my life. The past few years it snowed maybe once or twice per winter and it has been really cold. If you're into skiing you could travel up to the mountains where it gets a lot more snow.
As far as the city itself…Philadelphia is a great city. Great food, great shops, cool/ tall buildings. If you're a sports fan you're definately in luck. Our fans are porbably the most passionate and loyal (although sometimes brutal) that you'll find in the US. Our teams have been doing really well lately too!
Answer:
Yes, humidity. Humidity. Did I mention humidity? lol. We are near the ocean. You will get used to it. And the cold here’s wet, not dry. Be prepared for extremes when it comes to seasons. Philly is a city to love. You will find plenty to do.
Answer:
First off you’ll have to get used to the humidity. The snow is wet and will soak you to the bone. Here's a link to a local Television station:http://cbs3.com/

A couple you will recognize from the motion picture National Treasure.
There's plenty to do in and around Philadelphia.
